Sergey Brin recently spoke to a group of entrepreneurs in Hillsborough, California, on Saturday about Google’s Gemini model and the overall impact of AI.
The 50-year-old tech boss, who left retirement to work on AI, said, “the trajectory of AI is so exciting.”
With his age and the amount of work, many of his followers have been worried about his health.
Some even pointed out that Sergey might have lost weight. But how true is this claim?
Well, for starters, Sergey is still as fit as ever. He hasn’t lost weight, although he does look rough with his messy hair and tired eyes.
After his recent interview was uploaded on social media, netizens quickly pointed out that retirement has not been good for the tech genius.
One X (former Twitter) user commented, “Proof money doesn’t make you happy and healthy.”
Another one wrote, “He looks really beat. Should use some of that money to go on a yoga retreat or something.”

Nevertheless, Sergey is healthy and doing great in life. He may have been tired during the interview but is energetic overall.
Brin loves challenging his mind and body by taking everything he does to the next level.
He has done it all: roller hockey, ultimate frisbees, springboard diving, and even high-flying trapeze.
“I like to do a variety of acrobatic things,” said the Google co-founder, who is worth more than $100 billion.
The yoga and gymnastics-loving tech legend has been into sports since university, where he tried in-line skating, skiing, trapeze, and advanced swimming.
He was so immersed in extracurricular activities that his father questioned his interest in advanced college courses.
It isn’t unusual for him to walk around on his hands or roller skate to the meeting.
But why all this enthusiasm? Well, it all goes back to 2008.
Sergey Brin Risk To Parkinson’s Disease
The former president of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, had a mutation on his LRRK2 gene, which simply increases his risk of developing Parkinson’s disease.
Moreover, his mother, Eugenia, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1999.
Hence, Brin wants to reduce risk by half, to about 25 percent, by exercising and pushing a healthy lifestyle.
Not only that, the billionaire is also using his wealth to find a cure for the disease, which he may or may not develop in the future.
He has donated more than $1 billion to Parkinson’s disease research, becoming one of the few benefactors in history to support the research on a particular disease.
Brin WROTE TO HIS BLOG on September 18, 2008, “I have the opportunity to perform and support research into this disease long before it may affect me. And, regardless of my own health it can help my family members as well as others.”
