Alfred Eggermont, a young boy from Binford, North Dakota, is impressing judges in season 9 of MasterChef Junior.
The 11-year-old is the first North Dakota contestant and proudly represents his state.
Taught by his mom, Sue, and gramma Lenny, he dreamed of participating in a cooking show after watching the program on television.
His favorite dish to cook is stir-fry (chicken or beef) since his mother likes it. A momma’s boy indeed!
With his new-found fame, the young cook has been featured in newspapers left and right. This isn’t surprising as the show has more than 2 million viewers.
